To oversee the day-to-day operations of a retail store, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the store's daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and customer service. Hire, train, and supervise store staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance standards and achieve sales targets. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase customer traffic and sales revenue. Monitor sales and revenue, making recommendations to improve store performance and increase profitability. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that the store has sufficient stock to meet customer demand. Respond to customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and supplies. Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of inventory management, sales analysis, and financial reporting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
